Enhancing Grammar Skills 

During Tier 6, we'll focus on reinforcing your child's grammar skills, including correct punctuation, capitalization, and sentence structure. By engaging in interactive activities and exercises, your child will develop a deep understanding of: 

  • Punctuation (commas, periods, question marks, and exclamation marks)
  • Capitalization (proper nouns, titles, and the beginning of sentences)
  • Sentence structure (subject-verb agreement, run-on sentences, and fragments) 

Mastering Paragraph Writing 

Our Tier 6 curriculum guides students through the writing process, from brainstorming ideas to drafting, revising, and editing their work. Our program helps students develop the skills they need to write well-structured paragraphs, including: 

  • Topic sentences and supporting details 
  • Transitional words and phrases 
  • Concluding sentences 

Strengthening Sentence Structure 

We help students strengthen their sentence structure by teaching them how to vary their length and structure. Our program emphasizes using simple, compound, and complex sentences. Through engaging exercises and activities, your child will learn: 

  • Simple, compound, and complex sentences 
  • Dependent and independent clauses 
  • Appositives and participial phrases
