MS. Marie D. Marrone
The Founder
At the helm of Primary ELA Skills PreK – 5th stands Ms. Marie D. Marrone, M.S. Ed., a distinguished literacy education specialist. Marie holds degrees in child study education, elementary education PreK-6th, and a master’s degree in literacy education PreK-12th. Marie also served as the founder and director of Quantum Leap Kids’ Learning, Inc. established in 2012, and Literacy Specialist in Early Reading Readiness development.
With a wealth of expertise and passion for education, Ms. Marrone has spearheaded the development of the innovative Sequential Block
ELA
Series Workshops. Tailored for preschool and elementary grade students (PreK to 5th), these workshops offer a holistic approach to
English Language Arts.
In these dynamic workshops, students are immersed in engaging lessons covering grammar, vocabulary enrichment, phonemic awareness, phonics, spelling rules and patterns, literary critical analysis, and writing organization. The primary focus is to enhance students' reading comprehension skills, setting a solid foundation for academic success.
Ms. Marrone's teaching journey began over 30 years ago. Through keen observation, she identified common challenges faced by her students, including low confidence levels, struggles with written language mechanics, and the need for improved reading comprehension. Determined to make a difference, Ms. Marrone embarked on a mission to empower her students to communicate effectively through reading comprehension and the writing process.
Her dedication bore fruit as students left her classroom equipped with more than academic knowledge. They carried newfound confidence in their ability to articulate their thoughts through writing, echoing the sentiment that "My pen or pencil is mightier than my voice!"
